THE MORNING SKY INITIATIVE
MURAWIN’S PHILANTHROPIC ENDEAVOUR
Our primary goal is Indigenous Women’s empowerment. The Morning Sky Initiative exists to empower First Nations and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) women and girls to lead the change, identify and solve their own challenges, transform lives, and drive inclusive growth through
healing, education, innovation, and social entrepreneurship.

ECONOMICALLY EMPOWERED WOMEN & GIRLS

Built on the foundations of Murawins key methodology, Barri Marruma, the Initiative is deeply rooted in First Nations ways of knowing, being and doing
and was developed as part of Murawin’s contribution to Closing the Gap on First Nations disadvantage.
TIDDAS IN BUSINESS
Since 2018, Murawin has delivered the Tiddas in Business program which is uniquely designed to support Indigenous women and girls to step into business. Supporting an Indigenous woman with her business, provides her with the opportunity to generate wealth and economically empowers herself, her children, her family, and community.

Stronger Together, Freda Roberts, Dunghutti Creations
The Tiddas in Business program is a series of culturally appropriate business activities and workshops that introduce entrepreneurship, business, and leadership skills for First Nations women wanting to start their own business.
