Murawin and the Minderoo Foundation’s Generation One, invite you to join us to explore the inaugural Indigenous Employment Index in Brisbane on 11 July.

27 June 2022

Join leaders from Minderoo Foundation’s Generation One and Murawin to deep dive into the research findings and discuss evidence-based strategies for attracting and retaining Indigenous employees, and improving Indigenous representation at different levels of organisational leadership.

The Indigenous Employment Index 2022 has been shaped by ground-breaking new research and is the first time that some of Australia’s largest employers have responded collectively to provide a snapshot of Indigenous workplace representation, policies and practices, and employee experiences. Together, the participating organisations employ more than 700,000 Australians; about five per cent of the Australian workforce.

About the event

The event will outline an evidence-based roadmap to support employers on their journey towards improved Indigenous employment outcomes and a positive and culturally safe workplace environment by applying learnings from Indigenous ways of thinking, being and doing.
